This includes saves at the closest point to the end of each level. These are useful for practicing save glitching into the next level or making an IL save for the next level with the weapon of your choice already in hand. There are some chapters that have saves both with and without the Sawed-Off Shotgun. All of these saves have max ammo, guns, painkillers, health, and bullet time. To use these saves, you need to drop them into your Max Payne Savegames folder. If you're on Windows and using the Steam version, this folder should be located on your C: drive in the Documents folder. You also need to change the name of the savegame you want to use to "savegame" and then a number between 003 and 012. The extra zeroes are necessary. Alternatively, you can use the Rename Savegames tool to automatically rename savegames to the proper format.

End Level Saves

This includes saves for the PC version at the start of the Part 1 Prologue for each of the three full game difficulties that we run (Fugitive, Dead on Arrival, and New York Minute). You can activate this autosplitter through the edit splits window (which is recommended), or you can download it from here.

If you download this from here, you'll have to add a scriptable autosplitter component to your LiveSplit layout, change the path of the autosplitter file to the location of this file, and ensure that the autosplitter is deactivated in the edit splits window.  With the default settings, this autosplitter will time Fugitive and Dead on Arrival full game runs properly. However, in the settings for this autosplitter there are options for timing New York Minute runs and individual level runs.

Rebind quicksave / quickload keys

This is for Windows Operating Systems only. This batch file will rename savegames into the proper format automatically so they can be read and loaded by Max Payne and Max Payne 2. You can choose to rename savegames into the autosave and quicksave slots if you want, but this behavior is disabled by default. There is a Read Me inside the .zip file that contains more information.

Superjump Practice Saves

This file will edit the Max Payne registry and unlock all difficulty modes from the beginning. Just run the file and accept any confirmation boxes. (This file will not harm your PC in any way and does not contain any viruses. If you want to see exactly what it does before running it, you can open it in any text editor and you will be able to see the code inside.)
