it says QS/QL glitches and Borley Timer Abuse are not permitted. But without any punctuation does that mean only the QS/QL glitches, or all major glitches?
I used a thing called dgvoodoo2 and ran with xp compatibility mode as well. now i have never speedrun this game, but i figured i would mention this. i did not getting it run completely properly but its probably possible....i do think the pc version is some weird emulated form of the playstation version, or its at least making use playstation version of the files. also i could not skip the first couple cutscenes but i dont know if the game allows that in general
basically standard would be casual with you intentionally blowing yourself up quite often
it was either the RE2R rules or the 7 rules...this game has a lot more in common with 7 however so that just kind of happened. I dont think its a huge deal as long as the rules are fair. I personally would rather just play the game but i have kind of adapted
honestly this games only hope to be very active is improvements in the PS3 emulator....because of door skip and accessibility. The only other version is backwards compatibility with new X-Box's. At would not shock me if this keeps up with the emulator (not door skip), but so far I have not seen anyone test it
the reset in the current record is barry episode 1, gets killed trying to dodge the spinning blades
i did notice the NG full game record had a retry cause barry got hit by the blenders when i was learning the game
there is one other version that needs some real testing...the backwords compatitble xbox 360 version on the series X...in theory this could be about the same as the ps3 emulator. At the moment this is the most accessable "competitive" version next to the PS3 emulator (which will get more accessable as time goes on)
all you should have to do is select the patch, but i think it has different versions of the patch if you are using the disc version or the digital version
RPCS3 newest update seems to have screwed up a lot of shadows and lighting and textures so stay on an old one
You need to cap your framerate....if your in 60FPS it cant go over 60, if your in 120FPS it cant go over 120
go to your pending actions on view profile and edit the submission you already submitted
I think its probably confirmed at this point as crazygamingdayz did both . Console with HDD is slower than console with SSD. I do think it feels like console SSD might actually be fastest...but someone would have to measure the doors to be 100% sure...it may simply be matching the emu or actually be slower, its really hard to tell
You dont need a timer between games, you can use your normal splits for each game which would mean bringing up a new timer each game.....you dont need a real time timer
realized....if its going to be the hardest possible run, it needed to be 100% ending on RE1R so there is an actual boss fight :) also no saves so we don't get meme runs with 17 deaths or whatever
