California, USAit says QS/QL glitches and Borley Timer Abuse are not permitted. But without any punctuation does that mean only the QS/QL glitches, or all major glitches?
I used a thing called dgvoodoo2 and ran with xp compatibility mode as well. now i have never speedrun this game, but i figured i would mention this. i did not getting it run completely properly but its probably possible....i do think the pc version is some weird emulated form of the playstation version, or its at least making use playstation version of the files. also i could not skip the first couple cutscenes but i dont know if the game allows that in general
but when i was reviewing the record to try to learn the run, i noticed they did not get the best ending. can someone clarify
realized....if its going to be the hardest possible run, it needed to be 100% ending on RE1R so there is an actual boss fight :) also no saves so we don't get meme runs with 17 deaths or whatever
Hello, this is new and meant to be a challenge run for people who run all 3 games. The main category will obviously end up Jill any%, Claire B. So we did add another sub category for chris and leon. There is infinite possibilities for categories but we want to keep it small.
Knife only has one less category right now as its not clear if Jill or Chris is faster in re1r
We are open to more categories but this is a good start for now.
Every point of FPS is at least a minute of time save if not more. My runs were at 28 FPS because for some reason putting it in a window was doing that. i did do a run at 31 FPS (dont know why it was running at that) and saved over 5 minutes while making mistakes.
Rivatuner can lock this game at 30 fps , i had to use medium detection level, i was able to do this with Piexoto patch, although it should not matter how the game was run as long as we can see its running at 30 FPS
i dont think it can be allowed if i am right because its altering the game significantly, i might test it later to be sure
all the way down to 1:25 now
was at 1:45 minutes and was on the way to dorm 4...i did make a lot of wrong turns and stuff as well as stopped to look at notes a bunch...i could be wrong but i think general movement might be a touch faster on pc
just wanted to figure out a rout first, was playing this game yesterday. now suddenly this is here. lol
