The rules for city segments categories are currently iffy and are very tough to understand, so we will make an update to it soon enough. And please consider joining our discord if you haven't yet, since SRcom forum post notifications are broken.
edit: Rules for LI% are now updated, rest of city segments is still yet to be discussed
The reason for that is faster loading times. For example, the current Any% WR was finished at 2:23:51, however, it was done on an older hardware, and some loads, in comparison to loads from other runners, are slightly faster. There is no sure way to accurately calculate the load difference inbetween the two, but roughly it seems like an older hardware has a 15s load advantage throughout the run. Therefore, the current WR is retimed to be 2:24:06. Of course, the best solution to this would be an addition of the loadless timer, but unfortunately, we don't have that yet, so adding extra seconds to older hardware runs seems to be the fair thing to do as of now.
Note: this only applies to top-3 Any% runs as of now. An Any% old hardware run that claims to be top-3 on the leaderboards will be retimed. Or you can do that yourself while submitting.
Hey there, the forum post notifications on SRcom are very broken, so I personally never noticed this post. There are currently two moderators for Mob Wars leaderboard, Rot Killer seems to be inactive for 2 months now, but Solid is always online and you can message him on discord privately (it's linked on his SRcom profile page) or ask a question in the appropriate channel in our discord server. (you can find the link to it on the left tab here) Apologies for the late response.
Imagine not knowing how to read. Plus it's literally one click away. Plus No AJS is a much more interesting category.
It's a speedrun.com bug. Rules will be up as soon as the issue fixes. You can check up the 60 FPS rules, they are absolutely the same.
/fixed
You probably forgot that "The Last One" is also a S&F mission and unlocks only after a player achieves a 100% game completion, so yeah. No way.
Delay probably happens due to slow HDD, so switch from HDD to SSD, it should fix the problem.
Yep, that seems to be the most consistent way to keep your RAGE bar filled up during the Mahones fight.

So after doing a bit more of investigation, I have found out that the bridge skip is not actually RNG-dependable. It is consistent, and to make it happen, you have to start a new game -> complete the bridges takeover mission -> return to the menu immediately and start a new game from that same exact save file. The territories will carry over to the new game. Not sure if this should be allowed in any%, because this glitch does not happen if you start a game normally and the only way to skip the bridges is to complete this part of the game and then reset
Appears to be completely random. Resetting the run didn't help, same with entering the bridge area when the gangsters are already fighting
Edit: restarting from last checkpoint does not effect this also
Happened to me a couple of times also. I do remember that this skip only occured whenever I resetted the run, but never with a fresh game start-up, so maybe resetting causes this part of the game to glitch out. Can't say with certainty. Might test this out to see if there is actually a consistent way to skip the takeover
the rng in his runs is so bad, this has to be a huge fucking troll
he played a replay which he saved at farewell my love. it is normal, he (and many other runners) does it multiple times during the run to spawn certain vehicles or to skip some fades before the cutscene to save time
either accept it, or discuss with community, yes. but you can't outright reject it
@ShikenNuggets If a person comes outta nowhere and submits a wr run, you have to accept it until the proof is provided. yeah, it probably IS cheated, but since you can't prove that it's illegitimate, accept it
