Even in a TAS, I prefer using the normal spell from Mog instead of the fusion ^^ The only possible useability of Mog's spell fusions would be firestrike against some bosses, but due to it's rng nature (and the fact ultimately it's not worth) nobody would use it.
Best use of Mog would be in magic-users category
The main problem of "chopping every tree down" is the means of verifying it :P
That's weirdly arbitrary imo as many equipment can be dropped and/or be destroyed. If the rule is "pick up the least possible stuff" then you need to pick up the least possible arrows too.
Since 100% also considers visiting all map locations, in low% you might also want to dodge the most locations on the map possible, meaning a straight line to Hyrule Castle might not be possible. Need to never activate the tower too.
Might as well kill the least enemy possible.
TLDR: Define low% before asking people to agree on it :P
The main reason why emulators are not allowed (for most games) is innacuracies. An emulator tends to not run the same way as the original console. Even official emulators (by the company) tend to have different categories
And what's the goal of that category? Is it getting the coin as fast as possible to get to next game, thus trying to finish all games as fast as possible?
My current any% TAS is 1:36:47. I want someone to be under 20 minutes from it. Good luck :)
I give 10$ to whoever gets this trick in a run:

You need to get the lizard to follow you while the plant resurrects so he goes on the switch. Good luck :)
I lied. I any% it with the Yuke class :3 Here's the result:
1:40:47.82
Now I'll use the 3 first years to complete another all dungeons :)
Too bad I can't do the IGG on Dolphin. But anyway, thanks ^^ I just finished the TAS, I'm posting it in the TAS post
Hello everyone :)
I came back from a little pause of TAS to route an any% run with the Yuke. But I discovered something: consumable effects last after loading zones in the japanese version. For this reason, japanese version is a little faster than english version.
So I kinda need your help. I have to manipulate a lot of the artifacts I find in the dungeons, but I can't recognise them when they are written in japanese. I would need to know the translation of the artifacts, could someone help me on that?
It's not a big time difference, but I would like to go as fast as possible for any%. Thank you :)
EDIT: I also need translations of the bonus points conditions
This post is just me having fun imagining someone trying to do low% no quicksave and be like "Charmander noooooooo!" each time they enounter a Pokémon in a dungeon.
Like is this category even possible? x)
I guess I lied. I did another run all dungeons :3
Now I'm really going for any%. I'll use the Selkie class :)
There is an internal clock in the game. The drops are decided the frame you enter a loading zone and/or enter a dungeon. So if a monster or a chest drops different items, it's decided when you click A when you enter the dungeon.
TL DR: Impossible to manipulate in a RTA run.
Just tested it, sorry, it does not work
In any%, isn't it faster to just heal 2 (or 3) life plants and just exit the level?
Hello :D In follow up of my successful TAS that got under 2 hours, I'm still aware of the ways I can get it slightly better with, per example, using more than 8 directions (d-pad). I still need to learn this a bit, since for now I'm not good with it. I worked on a new route that should balance magic power and fast dungeons. I saw in my last run that I lost many time in bosses, sometimes more than 10 seconds by bosses, and I'm pretty confident I can save some seconds by simply doing some minor detours for better artefacts. Here's my route for now:

But guys, if I want to do the perfect run, I need your help. If you have any idea or techniques, tricks, criticises, question, anything, don't fear to ask :) We did a great job already, but I know we can push this game to its limits :)
Thank you again for all the support :)
