I recently was talking to John Williamson, he produced the game and was trying to get the game to work without the CD so I made a No CD patch here: https://github.com/KunoDemetries/AtlantisTrialByFireNoCD If you could add it to the games resources it'd be ight.

Compared to the normal route this saves ~4 seconds, I felt that running up the stairs backward would make the lineup easier.

Because I don't really want to make an SRC threat every time I found something new I added a Series of Unfortunate Events in one of the discord servers I have for pretty much games a few people have interest in to limit a million servers I'm in when I want to run games with less than 5 runners lol. So I decided to debug the game as I remembered it runs on UE2. You can open the original UE2 console by doing these steps

Within the game's files go to System/Default.ini and open the file. Scroll down until you see "Paths=C:\Users\pcname" https://imgur.com/xLiujk1 Follow the path (ignore the *.usa), go outside of the Save folder so you see game.ini and User.ini, and open the User.ini folder.

Bind any of the buttons to showlog, Additionally, this is where you can bind a controller to work with the game. Save and close the file. https://imgur.com/vWyRi8T

Open the game and spam press the key you binded to showlog. A very powerful command you can use is the open command which lets you open any of the map files. (Go to your maps folder to view the names as they're pretty straightforward to know which is which.)

Make sure you're game is not fullscreen

Additionally, do not edit the file in game/system as you'll kill your game from launching.

I was wondering how everyone would feel if we would switch from RTA to IGT, as there is already a fully working Load Remover/ Auto splitter for the PC version (current patch.) I have additionally manually retimed all the runs previously (even console runs that don't have it) to be able to switch over to this. Also, console already has IGT so IDK why PC, where it can be an actually massive change between two runner's techs, wouldn't be

Another note, maybe adding the switch version as someone else had asked about it without being answered

Hey guys, just a quick update. We are shifting the timing method slightly; it is, on some levels, once the loading screen in the bottom right disappears (some levels do have the title screen beforehand.) Most levels are not affected but the main ones being brick in the wall, redlight greenlight, echoes of a cold war.

  • So for starts thank you for choosing to read the thing that says READ THIS PLEASE.
  • Additionally, please thoroughly read this forum post.
  • If you die at all during your run FOR ANY CAT, the load after your death is counted as IGT, and not counted as a load. This is done because if someone submits a 4-hour run, we cannot go through and hope to find every single death to retime.
  • All runs, including console runs, will be retimed to IGT following the ruleset in the guide I made
  • You do not have to have livesplit but you have to at least put the effort in estimating your time in RTA.
  • All IL rules have been added, and so has the Any% rules
  • We will not be adding any more difficulty options besides realistic (eventually)
  • 30K challenge has been decided by the mod staff (Every cod mod) to no longer be tracked.
  • If there are Trials (like mw2019) they will not be tracked besides ones like gun course
  • We cannot create ACT runs, as there are not any ACTs
  • We will not be adding anything related to, or in the proximity of, MP or Zombies. There is a zombies board I believe, so head over there.
  • Do not be afraid to ask us questions on the discord
  • Do not use the forum for anything, ae don't make a form post as if you do. Every runner who follows the game will see the ping notification for it. We will do a mass forum post for your questions later on and add to it
  • Finally, "• Runs that are clearly not making an effort to beat the game's category quickly may be rejected" IS a site-wide rule and we will be putting it into play. So, actually, put effort into a run and don't submit your casual playthrough

Hey everyone.

So for the upcoming release of BOCW, we have decided to not accept runs for the first week of the game is out. It gives us the mods the time to be able to sort everything out (for the ILs names and the timing method for both any% and ILs)

However, your runs will not be denied if you submit them following the current ruleset (can be found already,) unless you don't finish the run to how we need you to. So I would suggest you record load-load to not have this problem.

We appreciate your cooperation and hope to see many wonderful WRs on the 20th.

Hello, If some of you are unaware me and NotJohn took the place on Tron for the time being, there will be some major changes happening for all of the board. (IL and full game run.) These will be noted down in an update post here, if any of you have any questions please feel free to ask us on the community discord. Many of the changes will increase quality of life for runners and moderation staff

Hey, I was just wondering something about the current WR that kinda caught me off guard and I was wondering if you could explain it to me.

  • During overall the entire run, especially on-farm, it seems like you weren't getting a slowness stagger which even affects jumping for me. (You can tell you're running most of the time from your arms animation being faster than the walking one)
  • Around 24 seconds (taking from the video) you kill the zombie outside with 2 bullets, but every time I test it, you cannot kill said zombie without hitting him 4 times.
  • Also, even though it's not about parts in the run; why is there a lackluster of game audio but with music audio ontop of it?

For starters I apologize for the mass spam of verifying runs, I was moving everything to the correct spots.

  • For starts, the levels Embedded, Proxy War, Clean House, Hunting Party, Embassy, Wolf's Den, Captive, and Into the Furnace were all changed to when you skip the cutscene to begin the level.
  • Additionally, all levels will no longer end on lose control, but rather when the cutscene happens that is skippable. (Many levels were not affected)
  • If this is difficulty for you to do on your own and you want to run ILs we will post an Imgur photo of the time differences for the said levels (you can just add the time to your run and submit)
  • Many of the MP Trails were moved to the MISC tab on the Full-game LB; this is to keep a proper organization of things and reduce spam in the Level LB.
  • The only one not moved is the season 0 - Gun Course, as that is too many runs to move.
  • Many runs were not moved AE your PB is the only thing moved, I apologize for this but it would take literal hours to move everyone's previous PBs.
  • For starters, every season and their Trials have been added and will be updated for future seasons.
  • Many of them were not added for the fact of the type of Trial it was if it was a similar trial (same season) to another one but with a minor change (like the type of gun used) they were not added.
  • The night-vision mode ones were added because of the increased difficulty.
  • Many of the previous operations were added, additionally, the basic "spec ops" levels are in consideration for being added as well
  • If I made a mistake anywhere or excluded a Trail that you feel that should have been added, please contact me through the COD Discord (I'm not taking DMs thus far)

  • Overall, the max allowed RTA time for runs to be retimed is 2:05 for Recruit and 2:30 for Veteran
  • If your run is exceeding these times, and you need a retime, your run will be kept as RTA, as it is impractical to retime your run.
  • We will make exceptions if needed, but overall the rule will be applied to everyone. If you are on PC use the ASL

I have decided to add ACT runs into mw2019; even though the game itself does not have defined "ACTs" I came up with some that seem to follow the flow of the game.

  • Act one will go from Fog of war to the end of Embassy
  • Act 2 will go from Highway of Death to the end of Captive
  • Act 3 will go from Old comrades to the end of Into the Furnace

I have done so to allow the game to be split up and not have just the options of ILs and Full game; this also gives new runners an ability to have something to do for individual sections.

I will leave this post open for discussion but overall it'll only be to change the layout of which levels are in which ACT

So as you all know, many (I mean many) Call of Duty games have an ASL and V-meter; so this game is no exception. ATM the v-meter and ASL are being uploaded to livesplit and should be installed within a day or less.

  • These both are mandatory for PC runners if you get top 3 places; however, if you get less than the top 3 you do not have to use either. BUT your run will be verified as RTA.
  • If you run on console this does not affect you at all; however please do not manually pause your timer as this is inaccurate.

these are no rules to follow during a run, but for submitting and or handling information needed from the runner. These rules do not have a major consequence but breaking the multiple times will be a problem.

  1. Do NOT ask for your run to be verified, we are given 2-3 weeks to verify all runs and we normally handle runs within 1-3 days if properly timed, and 3-5 if they need to be retimed.

  2. Do not use the forum for anything, the COD community is very transparent over at the discord (https://discordapp.com/invite/fQaYqvF) the mods for the game use the forum to post updated rules and other things we find. It is not used for general questions, as it notifies everyone who is following the game and not just us mods.

  3. We have a very strict blacklist policy, in which if you are caught cheating (splicing, hacking, and any other form of advantage) you will be given a warning if it happens 3 times you will be retroactively blacklisted from the call of duty community. AKA all run you have submitted for all games will be pulled from COD related games. You will, however, be allowed to submit to other SRC games not related to COD.

  4. Posting of Guides and or resources must be passed through a mod first to reduce spam and incomplete work.

Submitting a run is showing you understand/accept these rules.

As it has come to my attention that it was not stated.

  • The location of livesplit must not be in the left corner as shown in this photo (https://imgur.com/FdLbyWa) This rule has been added as it obstructs the ability to be retimed and your run will either be denied or retimed based on the loading screen ends. (In some levels it's easier to retime then others)

If you have a run submitted in the next 2 days they will not be denied as we assume you did not see this right away.
