Since we recently switched to the new timing method proposed by @Usojin, which literally cut the speedrun time by 2, in order to still keep the old runs and rankings documented as they were before the big change I decided to create the Any% (OLD) category. This is just a category made in order to keep everything documented as it was since all these runs are totally invalidated and outdated next to the new ones. No one should try to compete in it as it is irrelevant and just for conservation sake. If anyone have a better idea, an objection or a question about this, feel free to ask here even if this was posted a while ago :)

Hmm.. Sorry i've been checking the runs but not the forum uhh and speedrun.com just never email me half of the time about these notifications -_- I do understand that it makes the run easier, faster and thus better for the most part, a bit less annoying. Unfortunately the last part is still a playing part but i guess everyopne who ran the game a bit can agree that unless we found an interesting glitch at the end it's just press forward and run, so yeah I'll edit the rules right now, thanks for this contribution ! I'll add the link to your video if you don't mind as a reference for the quitout

Yes, I do think so, but you have to really make sure we can see the whole screen, otherwise your run could not be accepted ^-^

@Jamarley I get why all the categories make it looks a mess, as you said once the final release will be out we'll be able to move the older versions to a "older version" category or something

Hello, I'm actually training to get a descent run on PS1 (no emulator) and I'd like to know if you guys could create a true PS1 section, cause I've seen there's already @ALZERI28 who's in 1st place but he played on PS2 with fast disc, meanwhile on my PS1 loading screens are way slower, meaning I have a real handicap here.. So if @ZEN_Ivan could either create new category or make me a mod (just asking you never know ^^) that'd be great cause I don't have any interest in running the game anymore if I'm competiting against guys with Fast Disc PS2 :/ Have a nice day all !

The Godleneye Community has always been "close minded" if that even means something.. They are really not open to new strats, new techniques etc.. so imagine playing with an emulator, wtf that be crazy don't it ?

Well, like every single emulator ever I guess ? I mean between a PS1 and an fully modern specs PC running a PS1 game through an emulator of course there will be no lag, I think it's another reason.. Why would all the other games have emulator section knowing they also minimize lag and loadings ?

Well that'd be great cause running a FPS with controller against everyone on pc is just bullshit, I mean unless we run on different categories it's useless ^^
