On the 'Winters' page, the 'Winters' section is my RNG manipulation for the "pond cave" section.  There are other versions of this out there that you might find easier.

On the 'Winters' page, the 'Threed' section is the old Threed RNG manipulation.  Don't use this for the new route, but do use it if you want the route that makes a save in Summers.

Page 3 is the new Threed and Magicant.  There are a lot of random scribbles, crossed-out sections, and incomplete thoughts here and there.  Sorry.

The cats played with Page 4.  Sorry again.

Immediately before fighting Giygas, you can do some inputs to avoid doing 34 B's.  You can do 3 checks and a menu, and then you only need to do a "AB, B" in the fight with Giygas round 1.

Anywhere in my notes that just say something like "x9" or "x11", that means you need to do X movements.  In the combat engine, moving the cursor is worth 1 movement.  Pressing B on Ness is worth 2 movements.  Pressing AB while hovering Bash is worth 3 movements.  

I prefer handwritten notes to typed notes, because I can draw symbols or pictures easily to help me remember things, as well as make arrows for directions instead of trying to (conf)use U,D,R,L etc.

Lastly, I originally made these notes for my own personal use.  They might be really confusing to someone else. Any% Glitchless - Inventory Management

Finally getting that time down, but don't know where to nab those extra minutes of save? Well I can try to help you use less time getting lost in your menus! Here's the method of consistent inventory management throughout the run that I use!!! Feel free to make your own modifications, with enough pre-planning you can probably do this any way you want to, but if you're gunning for a top time this is the way I'd recommend you organize your items!

This route doesn't include more than two cups of lifenoodles or more than one brain food lunch, so keep that in mind. Also doesn't account for giving Ness's equipment items to Paula when prepping for the death warp (I recommend you drop them no matter what anyway, they're not that helpful), nor does it account for my alternate nonmanip route of Copper Bracelet, skipping HHV shopping, and buying Great Charms. I also recommend against buying the Toy Air Gun in any route.

Keeping the Franklin Badge on Ness or Jeff for Dept. Store is also a valid strategy, just make sure the amount of Super Bombs across Ness and Jeff equals 9 (buy one fewer BBR's for Jeff, put it on Paula instead), and give the Franklin Badge to Paula when menuing Pre-Shrooom!.

UPDATE 4/9/2018: I've seen the light, this item route now includes the Cloak of Kings! Only a couple minor changes, the solution to add it in was rather simple!

Before I began running this game I made a list of breaks in the run. I hope this helps new runners who see the game as a marathon to pace yourself and plan out food/bathroom/stretching-your-legs breaks. These breaks are about 27.5 minutes in total. There are a few smaller breaks such as the 'Fuzzy pickles' photos, but these are your best chances to get up and run into the other room if needed.

Any% Glitchless - Onett manipulation walk and input maps

Hello!

This is A route as of August 2021 but is by no means the only route to be able to complete the manip.

There is an alternative route through the arcade and an alternative route for the antoid death warp after titanic ant that involves picking up RNG 3 updates prior to dying.

That being said this works real well for me, and I hope you find them a useful reference while practicing and executing your first runs.

I have included information on backups that I know throughout the run. 

Be brave if Tracey doesn't go up right, you'll be surprised what an AB before the door can fix, just be prepared to go lower than normal to dodge mom and Tracey the final time you come down the stairs.

The guide assumes you know the basics of the run. Like, how to get to the meteorite or to Twoson and that you need to equip the gear as you pick it up. Though some of the more specific speedrun movement is shown. If you see an image and are wondering what it's meant to convey, I'd recommend watching Arithium's video.

Boogey% Updated Strategy Guide/Tutorial for Intermediate Runners

Hey! I made a video going pretty in depth about some tips and tricks and strategies that I highly recommend you employ (or at least take a look at) if you're looking to bring your, say, 1:10-1:15 Boogey% PB/race average down to a sub 1:10.

This is not a tutorial for learning the route, rather it's more of an expansion on what goes on in my head as well as the decision-making/strategies I employ based on certain circumstances during major key points of the run. As such, it is not necessarily targeted toward beginners, but more-so toward intermediate-level runners who have been playing the game for a while but are wondering what they might be missing when trying to lower their times.

I highly recommend if you use this guide, to use it in conjunction with temple's or anyone else's, I use a lot of terminology that requires at least a tiny amount of adept knowledge of how EarthBound's RNG works and how the manip works. Pajama% - Tutorial

Updated 6/18/2018 with newest route. Huge shoutout to UltimoIce (creator of Pajama%) and all the runners and all the creators that helped get Pajama% to its current iteration!

Even though I explain the OOB files in this video, I highly recommend you practice them yourself and get comfortable. Especially the Threed one -- it took me a quite a few tries to get the setup how I wanted it. Some people may prefer to wait longer than I do, so get a setup that's comfortable for you.
