If I remember, the hairpin jump was voted on by the community on if it should be a skip or not.
The hairpin jump in Yoshi Valley is not a skip, it and the Koopa Troopa Beach tunnel are considered not a skip.
Project 64 V1.6 is usually the emulator most 64 leaderboards allow, I don't know much about emulating Dr. Mario 64, but this version is worth trying if you can get it.
I'm asking this question in case anyone in the future would want to know, but would the Master System version of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine be submitted here? I havent played the Master System version myself, but I know it's similar to the GameGear version.
I would love to do speed runs of the Game Gear port. I love both versions equally.
If a Mario Kart 64 Category Extension page was added, these could be in them, but it's most likely these won't be added, fun ideas, but the current Mario Kart 64 page is for more serious runs. I'd definitely do these meme runs and there are plenty of ideas for additional meme runs, but as I said before, it would have to be a category extension like how The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a category extension for things such as Dank% and Go Home and Die.
If you are interested in running, there are runs on emulator, you need to use a particular version of Project 64. Version 1.6 is allowed.
I personally don't like using an emulator, I'm glad it's considered a different catagory.
When I was young, I messed around with this so much. Sadly I never found any use for it besides fun, but maybe there could be more potential with it.
A Cycle is a 3 day period. When you play the Song of Time, it starts a new cycle.
