Hey, firstly in regards to the run in the wrong category, ive fixed that now. In terms of other runs which might or might not be cheated/illegal I have no clue since I dont keep up with Cold War at all.

But on the topic of mods verifying their own runs, I think its always better to have someone else look at it first, just incase there is something wrong with the run, but thats the reason why verifiers can not verify their own runs, so that they cant put anything of theirs onto the board without it being checked. Then full mods usually can be more trusted to know if a run they have put up will be done legit.

Any updates on this OOB or something like it for PC? I havent touched this game in quite a while but probably will end up touching it soon due to the new categories added and wanting better times.

Im not sure, but if you watch my run it takes a few seconds for it to work, I assume you have to wait a little. but I just spammed q as I knew that worked. So give that a go

there will not be a separate board for custom maps but they are in the Level Leaderboard and that works equally as well I think.

a timer isnt required to upload a run, so yes you can use the ps4 recording and just upload that

it was removed as we just arent tracking 30k anymore for any cod games

Stuff like that will not be added on the main board as its very arbitrary, although smaller niche categories will more likely be added to the Category Extension board

the 30k challenges doesnt really matter, as they were meant to be deleted from every cod, so I think they either dont know about this change or have just forgot.

give the mods a break, and no need to make a forum post about it, the mods have been worked tirelessly because of many runs, like the mod told you. and things may have slipped through as being wrong so just be patient and they will sort it out. If you have any issues or problems we'd much prefer to have these discussions in the discord.

just search for run on your pc and type %appdata% and it will take you to it, you then go back one folder and go into local and the folder should be called My_Name_is_Mayo

Yes that's correct, unless I'm mistaken, although the word "predates" in the rules throws me off as the runs in that category seem to just be the most current patch, or at least patches similar, not from before the Beta builds.

Edit: On second looks the rules say the same for the Beta. So yes the patch you get normally goes in Old Engine.

to get the beta you go into the properties of the game on steam, go to beta and use the password "Password2Short" and it unlocks it, then you just download it. the difference im not too sure entirely, as I tried to run it and it basically would just crash every time I equip the rifle after I load into Canal. The hospital section is very slightly changed. if youre not fussed about that then Id suggest just staying on the current patch as atleast its stable

I dont think thats the best way to sort it, you could have literally just made it when the mayo first appears after the game loads up. But I guess oh well. would have been nice for this to be already figured out before I waste my time setting it up and then sitting there for an 1:20

I am making the board cleaner by making each difficulty a sub category of the new category "Full Game". And yes your runs could have been moved to the new category instead of denied.

I am a new moderator to help ease things and I have plenty of time to verify runs.

We also agree that the transition skip should be kept in the "Full Game" so please do resubmit them runs and I can sort it out for you. Sorry about any annoyance this has caused.

Edit: ok you did reupload them, ill get to them once the website fixes itself and I have moved the existing runs to the new category.
