There is now a standard for how to display times for individual level (IL) runs. Note that this does not affect how runs are timed, just how times are displayed. There have been three changes:
- IL runs will only have a time put in under the Load-Removed Time (LRT), not Real-Time Attack (RTA). There is no difference between timing methods for IL runs, and this removes the RTA column when viewing the leaderboards.
- All times are truncated to two decimal places. This is all that is needed for 60 FPS. This makes timing easier, and mitigates small discrepancies with framerates or whatever. The last digit will always be set to 0, with no rounding (e.g. 59s 667ms would become 59s 660ms).
- All boss level runs (Dull Bull, Tech Mech, Slog Frog) have been moved to the Any% (IGT) category. This is where they should be submitted from now on. This is the first category that you see when clicking on a level, so it makes the most sense to have runs there.
The rules have been updated to reflect these changes:
For level runs, only fill in the load-removed time (LRT), and set the third decimal place digit to a 0, DO NOT ROUND (e.g. 59s 667ms would become 59s 660ms. For boss levels (Dull Bull, Tech Mech, Slog Frog), ONLY submit to the Any% (IGT) category, not Any% (Real Time) or 100%.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or if there are any runs I missed that need to be updated to the new standard. Thank you!
