Runs have been posted that have shown a new way to complete the game. rather than opening the fridge to see the duck, runners have been able to just exit the room to end the game.
because of this, a slight change to the rules has been made. i changed "run ends when the screen turns black after seeing the duck" to "run ends when the credits start" because exiting the door begins a fade-to-black transition.
so all runs will now have their timers stopped when the credits show "anatidaephobia" on screen.
as many of you understand: the timer starts when the fade-to-black transition starts after pressing play. I've made the decision to change this one more final time. it doesn't make sense to me to time you for that part of the game you have no control in. so, in order to fix that, the timer will now
