Sonic Adventure was not only my first 3D Sonic game, but my first Sonic game overall. I owned and played the original 1998 JP release in 1999, when I was seven. So I was excited to run Sonic's Story to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the game that started it all for me. Since Sonic is all about going fast, it only makes sense I try to speedrun it!
I couldn't quite make the December 23 anniversary due to IRL commitments, but I still wanted to get a first run in before the end of 2023, Japan time (UTC+9). All I need for a sub-1:30 is to not game over 4 times across the last 3 splits.
I plan to run Tails' Story as well at some point.
