Is playing off of OPL allowed? If it is, what settings are required to keep competition fair? I imagine Mode 1 would be required.
I would love to start learning this game, but my childhood disc is too scratched to use in runs. That and I don't trust my DVD laser since my install was sketch enough to have Fast Disc Speed not work.
No you would need to play this game off of the original disc to be allowed a run on the leaderboard, nothing is stopping you from learning/running on anything you happen to have.
Why would HDD be banned for this game in particular and not KH1, even if you forced people to use Mode 1 in OPL? Just curious, cuz from my perspective it makes no sense at the moment.
OPL is an emulator for PS2 it will make loads too fast for RTAs If anything it will be treated as an emulator run.
Buy another copy of KH2 if you care or replace your current PS2
