I've barely ever used any sort of speedrun timer and have only ever used LiveSplit twice. AutoSplitter has felt extremely tedious to set up and even after following the guide, I'm still extremely confused on how to use it. What do we screenshot? What images are supposed to be in the sub-folders? Is there any way to just use LiveSplit or the in-game timer instead?
No worries, it can definitely be confusing at first.
The screenshots = split frames. But we can't have a full screenshot since it will be different every time in-game, so we have to choose a static element from that screenshot and try to isolate it as much as possible as a transparent png file.

You can also just manually use LiveSplit without the autosplitter, or just submit with the in-game timer. Mods will always retime every run anyway to make sure the times are accurate.
