! NO CUTSCENES MOD

Want to run the greatest RPG of all time, but **HATE** cutscenes? 

No worries! I made a **No Cutscenes** version of Eternal Senia! All cutscenes, transitions, and so on have been modded out of the game. 

This is convenient for practice : you can do a whole run in less than 30 minutes, as well as practice segments easily. A showcase of a practice run:

Glitches i used in my any%, some are old and some are new

**Autofire:** The most important, just use one or you will get RSI from cutscenes: I used http://promo.murgee.com/

**Xy zoom**: screen transition -> reset (with f12) -> load auto save -> dash (Q) -> open skill menu and close (or do splash leap). moves fast until you hit an enemy

- Transition ends only when you face the enemy so you can extend it a bit
- Afterward you are immune to shots from enemies, dashes from horsemen in sanctum 2 
- When you splash you do the dash anmation on enemies you hit, this can be a bit faster
- Use it in sanctum to become immune to shots from angels and horsemen (*do not use Q again or you lose this bugged state*)

**Skill menu trick:** when you open the skill menu you don't trigger load zones

- Activate the skill menu (S) just before the loadzone -> you walk on it but not trigger it
- You can go OoB but depends on the room
- You can also dash (Q) while in skill menu, useful in some situations but slower
- Used mainly in forest

**Phantom dash**: open skill menu -> wait a bit (to be able to close it) -> dash (Q) -> close skill menu

- You keep dash speed even during the end lag of the dash -> go twice as far
- You control the second part of the dash

Alternative way: screen transition -> dash just before the screen blacks out (you will see mana bar go down, and you will dash/or not in next room)

- Useful in many more places as you don't need skill menu
- It works everywhere but the dash doesn't come out in every room, depends on room. 
- If it doens't dash after you do it then you get the same effects as the xy zoom bugged state (some immunity, dash effect on splash)
- **Do one just before you get splash leap -> faster animation on the enemies**. You won't dash and will get the bugged state. See 16:21 in my video, the dash is set up at 16:14 and you can see mana go down

**Splash Leap double hit**: Stand right next to the enemy before splash leap (W)

- You hit the enemy twice, extremely useful as you deal much more damage
- It has a small cooldown so be careful

**King Slime cancel glitch**: Just before king slime boss room, cancel the dialogue and you get warped

## Routing

General idea: craft stuff as early as you can -> less time in combat

**Forest**:

-  Craft EX sword and EX fairy armor after FB code guy, before boss craft fairy cape
- For the dragons and wolves before the boss follow route in my run, you must get double hits with splash leap, easiest way to do so is hit them once, walk up, leap
- There's a safe route for the arrow room it's NOT random, do the same as my run: walk right, then back left at the 2nd outside tree

**Demon frontier**:

- craft sword and armor after FB guy, try to get as much materials as you can if it's not out of the way, you should have enough for EX sword and armor after
- If you have a lot of health getting hit by a ghost is faster than killing it normally
- Area before warlock is random
- Gold room is random
- For the room with switches do a xy zoom and follow along
- Somewhere before warlock craft glove and cape
- Craft elite sword (and ex cape) if you can

**Sanctum**:

- Armor and sword after FB guy.
- You need EX armor and EX sword to survive sanctum 2 so farm any enemies you come across until you get **4 cloth+4 crystals**. As you get 5/5 from the fb guy this is enough to craft both EX armor+EX sword. Once you have them it's easy
- If you don't have demon ex cape before final boss craft sanctum cape

List of glitches

Xy Zoom - screen transition, reset with f12, load auto save, phantom, skill menu or splash.  moves really fast.

Skill Storage - Puts the skill menu into memory.  Open the crafting menu, exit and go into skill menu

Phantom Clip - Activate Skill storage, while inside the skill menu, phantom to go OoB, used in a few areas.

SK Super Speed (subject to change, discovered by me :D) - we have no idea how it works but we just move really fast, almost as fast as xy zoom but easier to control.  Discovered it while messing around with phantom.  Sadly no clips of this and no telling of how useful it'd be.

Transition boost trick

Hello everyone, it's OmniKronos (now Enarmonika).

Today, in my first guide ever uploaded to speedrun.com, i wanna share with you a trick that i recently discovered.

The thing is, there are SEVERAL rooms (but for some reason, not all of them) where if, while the fadeout transition plays, you buffer a Q attack, the dash will last twice, and you'll even be able to control your character (quite hardly, but manageable with some practice)

As an an example, the room in the Forest of the Fairies where there's two elfs, is one of those several rooms.

This might, with a deep research of which rooms are suitable for this trick, save a couple of seconds, even a few minutes if managed correctly throughout all the run.

I'm at the moment starting to make a full excel spreadsheet with all suitable rooms. I'll edit this guide with the link to it whenever i finish it
