I've been playing around with the Scarab route a bit in my most recent routing/attempts. Right now I'm still collecting 15 to get the spirit of the devils, especially since I've started skipping the SOTD in Ch.4.

My sum of best is a 2:04 without Dabilahro, and just fighting Marbus with the True Dragon, since it's uber safe.

I found JTB's run where he skipped all scarabs to be pretty interesting. I'm not too keen on giving up that life of the thousand gods though.

I think getting Caleb or JTB to submit run times to this site is a pipe dream. Both are pretty adamant that that won't be happening. That being said I agree with Kanis in regards to RTA.

@unwary I misread your initial post, I thought that was a 360 to OG xbox comparison.

LOL. I really can't stand the 'harder than dark souls' meme. It's like people forgot that there were hard games before Dark Souls.

I use a disc on 360, I wonder if that affects load times. Also I'm pretty sure were getting backwards compatibility on xbox one soon, which could shave more time.

Personally I don't think IGT is a valid way to time NGB runs. To my knowledge the in game time pauses when menuing. This can affect a run by minutes.

I kind of agree with Kanis. I feel like all chests should be opened, which would require all fiend challenges.

Hey All!

I recently submitted a run that was invalidated because the entire borders of the emu weren't in the recording. When I checked it again and against my obs settings the entire emu frame is visible in the recording. I have a black border behind the emu frame to make viewing easier on twitch, which does make it difficult to see exactly where the emu frame is. I was wondering if there is a way I can appeal the decision.

Hi everyone, My names G3netic, or Tim if I'm not on the internet. Got my first run validated and I'm hooked. Right now I'm running sonic 2, smw 11 exit & all castles, and ninja gaiden 2 NES. I have a meat boy run but I haven't dusted that off in a long time. Looking forward to going faster with you guys.
