Hello, I'm requesting that a change to super moderator status for the Resident Evil 4 mods. I was previously the only moderator of the board and made someone else a super mod as well to help out, who added all the new people as super mods. That person is no longer is a part of our community, but now I am unable to remove those new mods who are inactive or no longer are part of the community as well. In an effort to clean up our moderating team, I would like to have everyone's super mod status removed (except mine) so I can hopefully have an active team of mods instead of what we have now.

If you have been trying for years to match those times, you are probably not learning from your mistakes tbh

It's really just those two ways right now, I would always switch to my striker in 30 fps runs since I needed it out anyways.

I would be more interested in why this works too because we could potentially use this in other scenarios. It must have something to do with the striker being out since I had this happen to me a long time ago

The glitches are super simple once you get the setup for them down correctly. For island skip in particular, I'll face leon towards the corner of the first ledge you climb up so that way he climbs up at the furthest right spot possible. Then I use the dpad to run forward on the second ledge so I don't change his angle by accident. Once you get to the third ledge, I hold right on the dpad to rotate Leon and mash A to jump down and out of bounds. It's really simple once you get the hang of it, I very rarely messed it up using that set up.

I would go ahead and learn the game on Wii for now tbh. 30 fps in Steam is basically the same with quicker load times. Most people play 60 fps which is the fastest category but is more difficult due to some indepth differences between 30 and 60. 30 translates really well into 60, so don't feel like you have to wait until you get the steam version to learn the game.

If that is confusing, blame Capcom for constantly changing the game every time a new port comes out >_<

So now that a few runs have been completed for any%, we should start considering changes to the run.

I listed some possible changes in my notes (link below, can't access currently from work), but I think the biggest two things are going to be grinding gold for Paranta Seeds to give Vyse better PWs and optimizing late game fights for a SS run.

I typically use Windows Movie Maker for trimming raw footage. It takes a while to process, but never had any problems with it.

I'll try to make it to next weeks race! They look pretty fun :)

There's really no incorrect inventory since it's preference how you beat the game, but if you are trying to optimize your run times, you'll definitely want to drop most of your eggs and add in more grenades to get through rooms quicker.

Look at some of the top ng+ runs to get an idea of the number of grenades you need

Skywheel is the only person with the handcannon and has the correct inventory :^)

anyways, you can only change the frame rate from the main menu, so you would have to save the game and quit out to change it. that's the main reason why it's considered segmented and how it differs from doing a checkpoint restart

We actually thought that for the longest time, but once Morse started pushing the category to its max, the load times are just too good and make up for the lost time from doing no oobs (plus more, 60 fps ng pro is about a minute faster than 30 fps)

I'm looking to learn Shantae at some point and I see one PC time and the rest of them being Wii U. What are the main differences between the two and which one is ultimately faster?

Isn't it different for ntsc gcn re4? I remember trying to do our normal strats when first learning re4 and I could never get the cutscene to show.

But Phaero, you forget to factor in that we are in all of those chapters due to Ashley being kidnapped. So every mistake can be attributed to her.
