Sorry to bother any speedrunners out there, but I'm curious as to how the blue coin that crashes works in Noki Bay. For some reason, my version of the game has the coin crash but my friend has a copy of the game that does not crash, we both have the game in NTSC-U. Is there a specific reason why this coin crashes, and does it have to do with the number of blue coins collected?

It’s unclear what causes it but it never seems to happen if you collect the blue coin without a memory card inserted for some reason
