I wanted to simply play through the game and record it with high resolution, so I ran the PS version in an emulator called Duckstation. However, I also experienced just how this version is way more anxiety-inducing than the PC one. I already saw from other runners' videos that you have less lives. What I learned is how much worse the controls are when you jump. You can only slightly change the direction in the middle of a jump, which makes diagonal jumps a pain in the butt. When you collect hearts, the amount you get is only half of what you get in the PC version, and you can't get more lives than you started with. I'm kinda surprised I completed the game without a single Game Over.
