We are currently looking for verifiers to help with getting runs up on the board.

Verifiers must be 13 years or older. If you are interested, please say so down in the thread. Note that this is not a moderation position. Hence why I am being more lenient on speedrun.com's rules that you need to be 16 years or older to be a moderator.

If you are accepted and caught lying about your age, your position as verifier will be removed along with all your runs on this board.

People who are interested must have a solid understanding of the main rules. If you have any questions about them when/if you are selected, ask a moderator and they will clarify with you.

I have considered it already and it has been suggested. Can't really say at the moment if it's coming, but it's certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

This post is being made to inform everyone of two things. For one, @Zooms has stepped down from leadership position. @1xBlindx1 has joined me in leading this page. While it had been a while, I want to thank Zooms for all his work on the board. This page wouldn't be where it is today if it weren't for him starting us off.

It does in fact look like we're going to have to run another vote here soon, both for discussing whether it'll move again and for a new ruleset. Old ruleset is a mess. But do know if we do in fact overhaul this category (which is what this seems to be turning into), all current runs are going to be scrapped.

At the moment it looks like 1-2 players are actually actively running it - which I don't want that to mean there's only like 2 runs on the new version of that leaderboard then it dies again.

I see this issue with a lot of runners when submitting duos.

Try to make sure you spread out the links by holding space for like a second or two. It’ll show properly then.

To the post above, to your first statement - no exploits was sitting as a normal category for months, and was only moved after we took a vote. Everybody who voted - voted yes to moving no exploits to Misc. Zero opposition. We just finally got around to moving it after months, which is honestly why I’m feeling a bit stubborn about it. That nobody opposed and right after we finally did it after months of waiting we want it back in place.

I’m perfectly fine with this, by the way. Not mad - if we get a general agreement that people want it, that’s ok. Was just feeling iffy that it happened right after.

I also do agree if it does come to us putting it as an extension, rules need to have an overhaul.

@0FFSUBJECT If you don't have anything of value to add to these threads then you need to stop replying to them.

There isn’t anything we can do about that. There are pages that BAN certain platforms because of this reason, having disadvantages like that. But we haven’t done that and don’t plan on it. That’s the most we could do, really.

I'm gonna say yeah. Seems as the discussion is pretty much dead. I would say we should come to a decision here real soon, gonna wait on Insom to put final say on this and figure out best course of action. Now would be the best time, as the board seems to have calmed again.

But in the meantime, I will say there is no need for a board split if the time is less than a second or a second. Especially if we're not using milliseconds. If it is more than 1 second, then maybe so. (Had a change of heart after further thought on it.)

Sorry for the silence on this - we were informed that Buried Oasis and Sunken Citadel were changed. We did completely remove old Sunken Citadel runs a while ago. Buried Oasis I was informed, but have not yet done anything with that (I will clear the runs after I post this.)

Updates are coming extremely fast, and we're trying to find ways to adjust to these updates with the maps and rules but the updates continue to come before we can complete changes and find the proper course of action. And as v1nnyy said, yes, we're all kind of busy with life as everyone else is, so no matter what it is hard to keep up.

Some of us are also on the FE2 QA team, so we've kind of just been sitting and watching carefully for the most part, as we don't know what updates will make it to the main game and which won't - so that plays a part in us moving slowly to make sure.

I wanted to make subcategories for the old versions of maps without removing the runs, but I have not found a way to do it with an already existing map. I can only create for the new version and then the old runs also vanish. It's just a whole mess. I've nearly come to the conclusion that you can't add it after the fact, but I'll keep researching that.

But do know, we normally know when maps are changed. We have just taken a slower approach as of late with the mass updates. We will keep you guys updated.

There hasn't been discussion of bringing back trio's. I will bring it up with the other moderators and will let you know what we think about bringing it back.

I would say probably not. That would be exclusive to PC players as most mobile players and Xbox players cannot play that game due to it being severely outdated.

Because they don't do it for every single run just to go "mods mods mods look they messed up."

And I'm going to ask that you stop making entire threads for one run when you can simply just PM one of the moderators.
