A lot of people don't get to see these except in complete game runs figured just throwing that idea around like Pocket Monsters Stadium 1 has this as a misc. it'd be cool to see how fast some of the cups can go w/ Not Typical Strategies that'd you usually see in complete game would be nice to see. (I doubt adding this misc categories or IL type things are needed) but I think it's nice data for people who don't have much time to do Complete game or to actually watch those runs. and it'd broaden up horizons i guess. just throwing my input since i enjoy these games.

I would definitely compete in Cup categories if they were a thing. It would be good practice for full game plus it wouldn't be a waste of RNG if it's something that can be submitted. I could take or leave it though. That would be a lot of categories if every cup/ball was included as an individual speed run. Like maybe just Prime Cup Master Ball, Poke Cup Master Ball, Petite and Pika. As those take the most skill/knowledge to optimize at least in my experience of running the game. There's so much decision making in those 4 cups.

@galaxyth Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 has very different cups 99 cup 98 cup and 97 cups respectfully different rentals also cause differences in route too

I tried to sell this idea forever ago when CR1 got added but to no success

When PMS1 got added I did make the cups misc categories since there are only 4 of them in that game. If cups were to be added to this game/INT Stadium 2, it'd make more sense for them to be ILs instead as having that many misc, which seems like a bad idea to me

ILs would definitely be a better idea, in my opinion. I also would say that challenge cup would be kind of a meme to put into stadium 2, so I personally wouldn't add those, but i'm not a mod and don't have a huge opposition.

Anything that gives any type of LB i'd be fine.
