With the discovery of the true ending, the All Chapters category has been added. You must play all chapters in order, real time will be used, meaning you should use an external timer. Good luck everyone!
I read the rules for that category, and it still says that runs longer than 8 minutes can use a screenshot. I don't think that's trustworthy tho, but I'm assuming it's a mistake.
The rules are for each subcategory, so I can't change anything past the first paragraph without changing it for every category. I'm gonna add a rule to ignore everything below it.
Dang it, in my opinion, we should do something like this, took 2:45 to finish chap 1, took 3:58 to finish chap 2 and so on, not counting the time it takes in between rounds. Just a thought
what happens with chapter 12, because of all the endings. do you have to do all the endings or just one?
@Awesomebanana87 what if people die tho
@Alex_Gjoka since the time ends on completing chapter 12 the endings dont matter
I say it's the same rule of thumb, first to escape stops time. You only need one to escape every round.
Also gotta make sure that people aren't glitching in the regular categories, which is why the video should be reviewed, instead of simply a screenshot.
@Awesomebanana87 Ik I’m not a mod, but If I were, I’d make it so everyone would have to escape, instead of stopping the time. You’re a team after all
Do we have to record the intermissions of each round or can I cut it out of the recording?
i was doing an all chapters speedrun. when i got to forest, school and metro, it did a glitch that when you finished with the map, it would put you back in the map for a short period of a time. in forest, i just killed myself from doggy because i wanted to get out of the glitched map, but when i died, it didnt take me back, so i had to leave and rejoin, which stopped the recording. same thing in school and metro. so do i have to do the whole run again or do i just edit in all successful runs together? (im not doing that map again to get a better time, because i still completed it)
the run should be one continuous recording, no cutting or splicing runs. I would recommend using OBS as it is a free continuous recorder with high quality and no watermark.
i dont have obs studio but i have streamlabs which is basically the same thing. i'll use stream labs tho it might be laggy
