Is this the wrong game? You do realize if you have a gamecube iso you can easily get the wiivc version.
Why wouldn't it be allowed? If you're thinking any% i've tested it and its a tiny bit slower because of lag but ess is much better. If you usb load it (i imagine its not allowed altho ive seen an usb loaded run accepted on lb lol) its faster than vc.
You can just use the MQ VC inject instead. I think its on the MQ forum on SRC but if not you can ask there.
Jonas if there's a usb loaded run on here then feel free to bring it to my (or another mods) attention. If you are talking about Master Quest, then it is allowed for that.
