We have previously used real-time for timing in this game. Now, the new WR has used in-game time, which is not the same timing method that we have used previously. In-game time is inaccurate to real-time, as shown in lectis's previous WR, where lectis (using real-time) got a 19:09 time, but with in-game time, lectis got an 18:49. I'm not saying to invalidate the new WR, it was a good run, but I am asking to make the timing more accurate.
What I am proposing is to either 1. retime all runs to use IGT instead of real-time OR 2. retime the WR to real-time.
Also, if we continue to use real-time for timing, we should retime the previous runs that started the timer immediately when they press start to be started (as previously decided) when Zigloton touches the ground.
I would recommend retiming to real-time, as categories like crown% DON'T use IGT, and using different methods for full-game categories would be slightly problematic.
This retiming would most likely NOT change the order of the runs, but it would help make the leaderboard more accurate.
(for some reason I forgot I was on my alt account and also don't ask why the hell I would have an alt account for speedrun.com of all things)
