The single levels leaderboard for SA/SO still use other than standard equipment for the missions, this should in my opinion be separated aswell. SA/SO/SE or something for silent assassin suit only standard equipment. I dont mean to cause trouble its just thats what i myself have started to practice, and i just checked nightcall and see a flashbang and a rubberduck on the SASO 1st place

you want a new category cause you start practicing default loadout. sounds interesting.

I believe its a category that defienetly should exist since not everyone runs with custom loadout for the levels, which came to my attention when i looked up where i would supposedly submit a run

I think more categories should be put in place. Perhaps even a glitchless category? Barring certain glitches?

I know I have stumbled onto this thread very late, but it would be nice, as basically all the strats used today involve the Electrocution Phone. Also maybe a Silent Assassin/Sniper Assassin/Suit Only catagory? You know, like the full points run :P

Having categories dedicated to very specific items would be impractical. Default Equipment/Starting Location would be a better way if you really want those types of runs to be counted on the leaderboard. Having SA/SO/Fibre Wire is also like saying SA/SO/Accidents Only

I guess so, I thought it might be a cool idea for the fiber wire fans. To get as close to your target as possible in the suit and do it as fast as you can, now that’s a challenge I like but I see your point.

Nothing is stopping you from creating these runs if you wanted to do SA/SO/Fibre Wire Only or Flying C4 as done by a few speedrunners, or accidents/poison/wrench whatever you want; and please share your runs to others to see what interesting ideas you come up with. It is just easier for and more practical if we just have the SA, SA/SO and Any%. I can assure you I am also sick of seeing the electric phone in runs as a means of eliminations but it is a reality for what IO wanted to do with the game (which can be a hit and miss); and thus a tool that is exploited in runs, as do many bugs and glitches in other speedrunning games have that can also be annoying.
