This run had a much better late game than my first attempt. First try Fog Canyon Acid Skip, and a much more aggressive THK fight to finish things off. We've broken the one hour barrier, next stop: sub 50min. It's probably reasonable to get that time using this route with cleaner movement and faster boss fights. That said, it looks like the top run in this category uses something called "stallball" or "slopeball" to do a skip in City of Tears. Seems framerate dependent, unfortunately. I guess I need to start figuring that one out.
