I want to start to speedrunning this game on my Switch, but I read I have to use an AutoSplit, the question is if I have an option to configure it whit my Switch (currently I use LiveSplit)
Hey, unfortunately this is not possible. Your runs will not be invalid without the load remover, they will just be timed RTA instead. Currently there is no separate board for Switch runs so you will be at a large disadvantage to PC runners, but if enough people submit runs on Switch I will split the platforms into different boards.
I came here to ask a similar question, so I figured I'd ask here rather than start a new thread. I just finished my first attempt at a speedrun of this game (or any game for that matter) last night, and while it wasn't a great time by any means I thought it would be fun to upload it! I ran it on my Switch and finished at 5hr 16min 42sec according to the in-game time given after the credits (I have photo proof if necessary). Obviously I don't have video to probe it was glitchless, but I can't imagine anyone questioning that given my time! haha! Anyways, ultimately I'd just like to know what the protocol should be for me uploading this run and any future runs I might do on the Switch. If I ever get good enough to have reasonably fast time's I'll have to figure out a way to capture video I'd assume.
Video proof is normally required but I suppose I could change it to only be required for runs under some category specific threshold. You would still need to provide your RTA time though, as IGT is not accepted on these boards.
You could do it to where it is only required to have a video of you are too 10 or something like that.
I brought this up in the discord a couple days ago and there were a few people opposed, so it's probably not happening
Your a mod just get one person in on it and then do it if you agree with me. Unless that's not how that works. I don't even have this game yet btw so your just talking to a random person.
Console runs have their own section in Misc. so you can see timing rules there. What category where you interested in?
Today Speedrun.com have added a feature to help you see which of your runs are at risk of Twitch Highlight deletion (see ).
