Hello there! I'm Matty, the developer of ingametime.com, a website that pulls runs from SRC and ranks players by their IL times.
I've gone ahead and added NWC:NES to the site, as I felt it was a great fit for showcasing skills across all games included.
https://www.ingametime.com/leaderboard/nwcnes
It originated as a way to points-rank the various variants of GoldenEye, but I've always wanted it to cover other series as well. It (mostly) maintains itself, periodically collecting data from SRC to populate the leaderboard.
What do you think? Let me know! Thanks.
Had no idea something like this even existed! And honestly I really like this! Kinda gives me old school Cyberscore vibes (if you know what Cyberscore is). Glad to see the game up on the site! I would say though, I hope more gets added! That way everyone has a fighting chance at the top without having just to play Goldeneye. Otherwise, really cool!
Cool website! One thing I noticed tho is quite a few times of xx.0x have their decimal switched (like veggie plucking being a 1.50 instead of a 1.05). Not too sure if you enter those manually or if it uses SRC's API (I'd guess the later and I really hope you're not entering them manually lol) but it's something I've noticed. Like Carter said, it has a cool Cyberscore vibe, it's nice to see
I plan to adjust or remove the "overall" leaderboard, it feels like comparing apples to airplanes. I've never heard of Cyberscore, I'll have to do some research. I'll take a look at the decimal issue, adding this game basically doubled the number of runs my site processes, so plenty of examples to work with! Thanks Carter & Wolf.
Very cool! I recommend that you keep the overall leaderboard, as an incentive for the community to submit their runs and make this game more active.
The system you use is very similar to the one The Sonic Center has used with Sonic the Hedgehog games since 2005. In the past (until 2019 when it stopped having so much activity), that page motivated Sonic speedrunners to complete all categories to obtain the "world championship title". I recommend that you look for the page to understand what I am talking about.
Good morning everyone, I would like to introduce a new racing system that has been set up. Each week on Saturdays, there will be a Single Game Challenge race that I will spin a wheel to pick. This being said, the same game will not be twice in a row. If the game is <10 minutes then it will be a best
