You will need to install ScummVM onto your 3DS, along with the PC game files for this game
I've been meaning to request mod for this game for a while as well. The level of inactivity for the mods isn't too horrible (with the exception of Yocko), but considering the current mod team for this game is all located in Europe, I think it would be great to have a mod located in the Western Hemisphere - that way one mod can manage the page while the others are inactive.
I'm basically on this site 24/7 and have a high level of moderation experience, so I'd be more than glad to help out with moderation on this page.
well if someone has to go afk due to something out of the runners' control, that's the only viable way of being able to continue the run without kicking them.
@SirMintonIsABeast please, read the rules before asking questions about rulings. Mobile emulator ban has been enforced in this game since October 23rd.
Emulated runs must play on PC emulators MelonDS/DeSmuME.
I'd love to help out with moderation. I'm familiar with this game's speedrun, having speedran it earlier this year. I also have this site open basically 24/7, so activity is certainly something that I have. I also speedrun and moderate other RPGMaker/Wolf Engine RPG games such as Purgatory and The Witch's House, so I'm have a wide range of experience in this genre.
Please consider me, thanks!
Yes the speedrunning scene for this game was never alive in the first place, but I can say for sure that I am active.
it's not chinese traditional, you have to change your system locale to chinese simplified
always be sure to read the rules before asking questions about rulings; the mobile emulator ban has been in the rules for months now
on PC, the only allowed DS emulators are DeSmuME and MelonDS. i dont know what Luddanstar is talking about honestly, 3DS emulators for PC aren't allowed for Cooking Mama 2 speedruns - only the two that i stated above are allowed
As there is technically no explicit percentage for completion in this game, I don't see why there needs to be % at the end of every category. They are arbitrary since there isn't a conclusive way of finding the percentage of which the game is completed after completing a category such as Game Over, or 10/10.
Basically there's no need for % in the names of the categories if the game doesn't explicitly state that you have completed this percentage of the game by doing certain tasks
I believe with your hardware, though outdated, you should still be able to run this game above 30fps at the very least. You should try to verify the integrity of your game files through the game's properties in the steam library. If you haven't already, try to make sure other active and irrelevant programs are closed while running the game to allocate as much resources to the game as possible.
yeah they submitted a TAS so uhhhhhh don't gotta worry about them anymore lol
Maybe a good way to organize it would be in groups of 10 waves? Either that or we can just make the ILs the boss fights, although doing both simultaneously would be possible
