I have the mod status of 3 Unknown games that apparently the site doesn't recognize. I don't know if it's a bug, since I don't remember being mod for any other game aside of the ones that the site correctly shows.

That category is basically Any% No Major Skips, and that already exists in the category extensions page. (See: https://www.speedrun.com/smsce#Any_No_Major_Skips )

I imagine the reasoning for that is, aside of being a built-in code, using it means you game overed, so you're losing time anyways. It doesn't provide any kind of benefit over not dying

I'd personally go against it. On every category, it would only save time by skipping cutscenes. Even a category to beat the game with said cheat code would be too short and/or trivial to keep track of.

I'll wait to see what people think, but I don't think it's a good idea.

Due to being able to enter the last boss without all toads, Any% has become just Low Toad% with the final boss at the end. Therefore Low Toad% has been archived due to its innecessity.

Before, it was Any% and Low Toad%, but since you don't need all toads anymore, the categories are now All Toads and Any% respectively.

I'm pretty sure that's just how speedrun.com works. I think you can't contribute with a guide until you have a run accepted in said game.

That would be the same as just having notes next to you. So yes, as long as only 1 person is playing, it's allowed.

I didn't know this game had an autosplitter? Never saw it, at least.

The only thing on the resources tab is a splits file, not an autosplitter. As far as I know, you have to manually start and end the timer for this game.

It's been a long while since I ran this game, so maybe I'm wrong, but I swear I haven't seen an autosplitter for this yet.

For now, I'll verify your run with the current credits timing.

However, I'm more than open to discuss changing the ending timing to the "All Done" button (In case of Any%, at Pat's Party. In case of Best Ending/100%, at Pat's house.)

I personally don't mind either timing option, but I'd like to see what people think.

That's what I'm doing right now. I wanted to just be patient, but 8 months seems to be quite a long time for a single run.

Update, it's December now and still nothing. That's all I'm going to say.

I'm down to be a mod if needed. I'm not active running the game at the moment, but I'm free to verify runs and such.

Well, for Best Ending, the family tree is a requirement. The puzzle pieces aren't (although, you still need some to get Clancy). IMO we should re-name the current category to 100%, and then add Best Ending.

Any% would be just get to the end, nothing else, although I do feel that would be an awful category. It would be spend the whole in-game day failing Bargain of Earthly Defrights and doing the Pat minigames in-between. But if people want it, I guess it could be added.

I've had a run pending verification for 4 months now (since March 25th).

I've looked up the mods, and only one of them has been active recently. I know IRL exists, but it seems weird to wait for this long on a game that is not that active and that has three different moderators.

I'm not one to usually do these kinds of posts, but this is the longest I've ever had to wait on a run. If this serves to fix any possible problems with mods (or something of the sorts), then great. If I was just impatient, then I'm sorry.

Does the Emissary need to be killed on All Bosses? I'm not sure since it's technically a NG+ thing, and the True Ending category already exists.
