Download:
https://livesplit.org/downloads/
After downloading, unzip the file, and run LiveSplit.exe
To import splits:
- Navigate to the "Resources" tab for above and download the splits that you would like to use
- Open file explorer and double click the file you just download
This should open the splits in LiveSplit automatically
How to enable global hotkeys (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED):
- Right click LiveSplit and click "Settings"
- Enable "Global Hotkeys"
This allows the livesplit to be interactable without having to toggle to the tab directly, allowing you to split while still being tabbed in on MiSide
I also recommend comparing against your personal best, which can be changed by right clicking and then clicking "compare against" and switching to personal best
ENABLE GLOBAL HOTKEYS It is a setting I see most new users not using, it helps a lot trust me
If you encounter a soft lock during your run, feel free to go back into the menu and reload into the game and I will remove that time from your final run. I have been doing this since the start of speedrunning, and I feel like it makes it more enjoyable since none of us like soft locks
