Just to update on Silent Hill 3, I've started to really run NG+ heavily now versus just running regular any%.

This is a pretty unremarkable PB, but I thought you guys would like to see it just to have a idea where I am in regards to running the game. I made one tiny mistake which resulted in about 20 seconds being lost (although I now know how to stop it happening) I feel that I'm pretty confident at running the game at my current skill level and my performance would show off this game nicely at the marathon. In the time between now and ESA, I will still of course try and improve my PB

Improved my PB in Silent Hill 3 to 42:40. Very pleased with the performance particularly with one of the hardest bosses in the game.

With Silent Hill 3, I found a consistent way of getting the game running at 60 FPS (not using DXtory to capture the game basically) which means that that getting the skip that's required in the run is a lot easier. Runs are going very well and most runs I do are within 20 seconds of each other.

I don't think that this is necessarily a problem with the site and moreso with twitch.tv's player, but occasionally embedded twitch vods will automatically play (see ESA first round cuts thread for examples)

Got a new PB in SH3 - 43m 21s. I seem to be way more consistent now with strats and parts of the game that were previously giving me massive trouble are no more :)

Something seems to be wrong with the Silent Hill 2 mod list also. One of the mods changed the title of a category and now (including myself as the main mod) have been removed from the mod list.

Pretty basic feature but I'd love to see something like it implemented - You should have the ability to sort the various fields on the leaderboards in ascending / descending order. If I click on the date label, it shows the most recent records just as a example.

Just a heads up that there now is a private operator running the Stockholm -Skovde - Gothenburg route. I had a look at the prices and they seem to be about 20 euro cheaper than if you went with a SJ service. High speed trains as well.

It's better to buy the train tickets in advance. Stockholm central can be reached in 20 minutes via the Arlanda express. I like to leave about 2-3 hours before the train is scheduled to depart as buffer.

Hi there, I've noticed that there is no option to hide the "time" field in games that only use IGT for rankings.

Would it be possible to add a option to disable the "time" field on the sh1,2 & 3 leaderboards?

You are trying to book the train tickets too early. Wait one or two more months and you'll see cheaper tickets. The prices noobest posted above are reflective of what they'll be (~€30)

If you are under 26, SAS offer youth discounts. For me at least, it knocked about €150 off the normal price of a return flight, so it's worth checking. Don't forget that SAS offer free hold luggage, so they could actually work out cheaper than Ryanair / easyjet, etc.

I fully agree regarding the frontpage. It's pretty barren now atm. Consider adding stuff like the latest posts in the forum, speedrunning news, etc.
