Nice idea :) There eventually is going to be a travel thread about this but for anybody wondering, from the train station (which is probably where most people are going to arrive into), the venue is a 30 min walk / 12 minute bus ride away.
I'll almost definitely be there. Last year was great fun. Can't wait :D
If you are talking about game submissions, they typically open in February/ March. No need to rush :-)
Yeah, let's just keep it simple and keep the rules to what a normal any% run would be. No need to over complicate things.
Even though I wasn't on the list for attending (?) I can confirm that I now won't be able to make it due to a interview taking place the next day after I am due to come back if I was to go. Best of luck with everything.
I agree with the points Shunpuk and Radge brought up above. There aren't a lot of runners who run on a different platform to justify changing the current system. If we were to change things, It would just create clutter and confusion - something I don't personally want here.
The difference with the resident evil community is that they have a significant number of people who play on different platforms. With Silent Hill 3 for example, we only have one person who has submitted a run on the HD version and only four runners have submitted a ps2 version run.
Regarding savestates, I don't think they should be allowed at all in the manner used.
Anybody wouldn't happen to have a spare tent they could lend me for the weekend / space in their tent? I'm now planning to fly over and it would be very cost prohibitive to bring a tent over
I can fly into Tampere for around the same price as Helsinki. Would it be shorter / easier / cheaper onwards to kuopio?
Don't think this has been mentioned but with the camping, will we have to put up and take down the tents each day?
Not something you'd prepare for your suitcase per se, but I just remembered that nokia have a fantastic maps application for android that features fully offline maps for free - incredibly useful if you don't have a data connection and want to find your way around one of the bigger cities in Sweden.

I have just sent you a PM on twitch. It will most likely have gone into your "other" folder in your inbox (without any notification) so please check there.
Thanks.
Hi there, If you want to follow me on twitter and I can send you information through there. Thanks.
I haven't actually made the trip from gothenburg myself, but just from looking things up, the bus takes about 30 mins to get to/from the train station, so I'd be looking at either one of these trains:
Check your airline for how long you have to be at the airport before (I recommend 2 hours before departure) Just to play it super safe, I'd get the 09:36 train.
anybody else travelling from Skovde to Stockholm on the 7th of July who has to be at the airport (for check in) at about 11 - 12 am?
For those of us in the UK and Ireland that use the superior plug socket type (Also applies to Americans/Canadians) , don't forget to bring adapters for any chargers, consoles, etc you are bringing over. I'm sure you can buy them over in Skovde, but the last thing you want to be doing is traipsing up and down willys looking for one after a long days travelling ;)
What exactly do the names in red indicate?
The payment spreadsheet isn't updated as soon as you pay. Check back later to see if everything is OK :) I also paid the full amount
Along with the stuff I'm doing, I'd be up for hosting and donation reading. Did a good bit of it last year so I know how to operate the tracker, etc.
