Doing the escape sequence with the elevator pre-scanned, the turret missing, or anything else that would not be possible the first time a save file entered the escape sequence are now banned.
Runs that made use of these things before this rule went in effect are grandfathered in and will not be removed.
This stuff is only banned in the frigate escape category. It would still be allowed in full-game runs, although I don't know why anyone would ever want to do that.
Let's say I mod a game that has normal and hard mode difficulties. Is it possible to set up the LBs so that when you view the hard mode LB you only see hard mode runs, but when you view the normal mode LB you see BOTH the normal and hard mode runs?
This is only a hypothetical example, but this is the type of functionality that would be highly useful for some of the games I mod.

Edit: this is no longer the case. See Dyceron's message below.

I have discussed this matter with several other members of the community, and we have decided to require that top runs be accompanied by a video. Specifically, videos are now required for Any% runs with an IGT lower than 1:10 and for 100% runs with an IGT lower than 1:30.
It appears I can't delete any runs done by anyone other than me, even for games where I am supermod. I can reject, but not delete. I'm pretty sure this is a bug.
It appears as if there is a moderator who is rejecting all the runs which are submitted with IGT and not RTA. As these types of runs would sit at the bottom of the list under the current rules, it is my opinion that they should be accepted.
Is there a reason the default sort is by RTA instead of IGT? I was always under the impression that this community went by IGT. Is it a 50Hz vs. 60Hz thing?
I ask mainly because I have the 2nd best IGT but I don't even know my RTA.
I currently run the leaderboards for the Metroid Prime series (1, 2, and 3).The current leaderboards are here: bombch.us/nId and the first sheet contains proof that I own the document.
I want to port them over to speedrun.com but it looks like someone named "FuzzyWuzzy77" has already gained control of the game and there are no runs present. I'd like to get control of all three Metroid Prime games.
I also think that these should be under the "Metroid" series and not under a separate Metroid Prime series. This makes the most sense to me.
Thanks for the help!
