Watching the Japanese run, i'm pretty sure there is at least a 1 minute difference between the NTSC and PAL version. The Japanese's gamepad is even disconnected for 12 secondes in his run lol, and he has still no problem beating the previous WR, not sure that's really fair for US/EU runners. Anyway I'm not running on console, so whatever for me, but you know... Equality between runners and stuff like that.
And what's up with that "just buy the japanese version" argument, come on man, that game is enough expensive so buying it twice would just be nonsense for lowbudget runners. People here are just pointing out a problem, so you, and us players, can resolve it properly
Ok Cursed, no problem bruh ! I gotch'a, there's been quite of misunderstandings on the post, that's true !
You can't expect the users to agree with your rules without complaining (although you have reasons to make them, I'm ok with that and I understand) when moderators aren't on the same page between themselves.
Just to answer to "Stop acting like Xerian is slipping us money to turn a blind eye to his runs. It's not like either of you are even close to his times in the first place to act like we're showing bias."
We have no hate for xerian, Nor for other runners, but you shouldn't say that not being "even close to his times" is an argument to shut our mouth when it comes to equality between runners. As said before, several runs have muted audio parts in the leaderboard (in february and in march). So agree between yourselves first and make the rule apply for everyone (users and mods), so we can turn that page and move on.
Pointing another thing out; is that normal that a mod can accept his own run ? Shouldn't an other mod verify his run ? I'm talking about Carcino, because I saw that and I was just wondering where do you stand on this point
Yeah but that wasn't a problem before 17th of March, right ? I've seen plenty of run with muted audio in the leaderboard
that's the highlight
and that's the fullstream (the run is at the end) so you can see the date played
So now, my run recorded on 14th of March is rejected as the one Xerian did on 16th was accepted. Wtf moderators ?
Anyway, just because it made me laugh
3 post later
Yeah I know, it's about the audio being muted, but put like that it's funny
PS: Thanks for the tutorial Altria :)
The point is; we have regulars on our streams, people who have seen a LOT of runs, so it seems totally legit to have music for us (streamers and viewers), because god knows that 15 minutes intro is SO boring after 200+ tries. And for entertaining purposes of course, sometimes we're just focus on the run and music helps to fill the blank. It feels like you've got a little bit of bad faith on your side.
Following your reasoning, then we shouldn't speak during a run, because it can drown some part of the game audio, right ? I don't really get it. Moreover I don't really want to make a local recording and have to upload it while Twitch does it automatically for me. But anyway can you give me a good audiosplitter software and a tutorial just in case ?
PS: Xerian's new WR uploaded today has music in it, so when does the rule apply ?
