Anyone is allowed to enter, all you need to be able to do is record your gameplay (via capture card, phone, webcam, iPad, etc).

Remember, if you can't stream your matches, totally cool. If you don't have a capture card to record your matches totally cool. Use a phone, use an iPhone, use an iPad, use a webcam, upload it to Google Drive for all I care. If you have any questions, direct them to Gamingland or myself.

I'm not an OG mod, so I can't make a stand on this. But I will say that a fellow Wii Series runner, ComardeGibby, is currently working on (and I believe he has done) a dolphin setup to run Wii Fit Plus as accurately as possible. You might talk with him here to see if he can figure something out for OG Wii Sports. https://www.twitch.tv/captainfamicom.
Also, manually doing IGT without loads for a game that doesn't automatically do IGT is a sure enough way to get a game killed on src.
Greetings everyone. This is a message to anyone who might be interested in running at a marathon that submissions are still open for ResortFest: Springo Bingo! We have had four marathons so far (ResortFest: International, ResortFest: Fall Fright, ResortFest: Game On, and ResortFest: Winter Rush), and have several submissions already for the spring version of the marathon.
These submissions will close March 28th at midnight CST.
Some important information about the marathon:
The marathon takes place online, during April 25th through April 28th. For the first time, we are raising money for the AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). You can find more information here: https://afsp.org/
This will NOT be a 24 hour marathon. We will be basing the hours off of our restreamers, so there will be "Sleep%". We have several avaible restreamers, however to keep things easy on us, we will be having our runs between 10am to midnight CST. Those times will be more specific and will change to exact times around late March, when we get a confirmed games list with everyone's up to date availability. Our current list of available restreamers on staff are as follows. (Note, we may not use all of them).

Springo Bingo, as the name suggusts, is a Bingo feature! We had a blast showing off the Wii Sports Resort bingo at Winter Rush, and many of our runners enjoy bingos themselves. Marathons are usually pretty hesitate on having bingos in the marathon, but we will take all the bingos you want!
We, as always, are accepting all submissions still, no matter what theme the marathon is based on.

Hello everyone! After four successful marathons, we move on to ResortFest: Springo Bingo 2019! This will be put on April 25th-28th.
Despite the title name, this really isn't a bingo only marathon. But if you have a bingo run, this is a great excuse to do a run!

You can find good capture cards for considerable cheap prices (where I come from, you can get a good one for $30), but no you don't need to have a capture card to record the gameplay. Get a phone, iPad, camcorder, webcam, just as long as the mods can clearly see the game and you can get the video on the youtubes.
Hey yall, old time X360 player of CastleMiner Z. Recently, my friends and I just got the game for PC. We spent the last 4 hours or so beating endurance mode, and killing the undead dragon. We were wondering if adding a Co-op category would be cool for the leaderboards? None of us were recording, but I can provide screenshots of the achievements as a start. 3:37:00 (just proving that hey, we actually did it and I'm not Bsing.) Cheers!

You have done exactly ONE run on these boards, so if we needed another moderator, we'd get Wipeout first.

We are going to need a lot more active members here for there to need to be multiple moderators. I'm talking like a few runs a day for multiple weeks.
Even though I normally handle all WFP these days, we still have EZ and Purple. We are far from needing anymore moderators for a long time.

I'mma backup SW on the Ganon approach for Light Realm. There are a lot more Olimar perfered fights in the Dark Realm, where I feel Ganon may have a better advantage in the Light Realm due to the fights we do. Something I definitely wanna test out.
Bouncing off Spider, yeah, that is my biggest complaint with several leaderboards. Runs imo opinion should only be rejected if they don't follow the rules. "Obsolete" is pretty much never in the rules, and never should be. If I PB a run 5 times, and upload all 5 of them (especially for a guy who has .3 upload speed), then the mods should just accept all five. Especially if all five runs have video proof. (I can sorta understand if the runs didn't have proof.)
I've just gotten to the point where if I know the moderator rejects runs based on it being obsolete, then I'll just submit the first one, wait for the run to be accept, then submit the next one.
I would personally love to see this, anyway to shorten up World of Light so it isn't as big of a pill to swallow is a plus in my book.
Good afternoon everyone, even with Winter Rush submissions almost done, I'd like to announce ResortFest: Wii For All! This one will be a little different than the rest of the marathons.
This is to celebrate Wii Sports Resort's 10th anniversary, so any and all of the Wii Series games are allowed to be submitted, including some other games. You can do speedruns, score attacks, TASes, and more! Submissions are now open!

Submissions close May 30th, 2019 at 12:00am CST. That gives you plenty of time to pick up and learn any of the Wii Series games, and plenty of time for our TASers to get TASing.
