United StatesPersonally, I really like the new update. Everything looks clean, it's easier as a colorblind person on my eyes. Will I miss my massive picture of cute Sylveon next to my speedruns? Yeah. But it's not the end of the world. It streamlines everything imo.
My only complaints being some of the bugs revolving around marathon run submissions and the fact I have no clue the size of that banner (the banner I use as a placeholder is for some reason too big I guess). My only suggestion there would be maybe have a post by one of the admin showing how the site handles the banners?
Overall, I think Pac did a great job. The marathon run stuff and the banners are things that can be ironed out later.
We have decided as an admin team that the money raised for ResortFest: International 2019 will go to Marrow's family. Marrow past away on June 13th, 2019, just a week and some before his two SDGQ runs. Marrow was an admin of the marathon (you can still see his name on the left side).

This will NOT be a 24 hour marathon. We will be basing the hours off of our restreamers, so there will be "Sleep%". The entire marathon is going to be restreamed by myself, but staff will have access to the restreaming computer if something goes wrong, and we have two backup restreamers in emergency situations.
This is ResortFest's seventh marathon, and the first anniversary of RFI! Over the past six marathons, we've raised money for Save the Children, Extra Life, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We've met countless amazing people, got to show off many amazing runs, and learned a lot along the way.
We, as always, are accepting all submissions still, no matter what theme the marathon is based on.

Hey, we finally got around to doing another run. This was a lot better, and we were joined by a 5th person. I know 5 players isn't a category, and if you don't want it to be a category I'd suggest maybe just a Offline and Online categories.

You can start on charge, however, you'll need to start on "Start Game". Until restart timing is figured out, we just need to follow the beginning of the game.
Hello everyone , after some personal thought, I have decided to step down as role of moderator of the Darkest Dungeon board, and furthermore, step down as a Caretaker here in the community. It's been fun meeting all the new runners, and building the community up from what myself, Skip, and Tricrow started. From what I've been told, Cryfor will be replacing me, so you are in good hands. I wish you all luck in the future, and remember, overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer.
I'm not Plyd or Gland, but my best bet knowing Jimothy is Twitch messed up the highlights. Especially if he is using a low end capture card, or the internet was bad that day reset the console out of golf into boxing can really through Twitch for a loop.
Without looking at the video though, exiting before mercy rule pops up usually is a no-no, however this was three years ago where this was probably allowed. It is up to Plyd and gang to make that decision, but as it is a 10:42, and not something amazing, I doubt anything really needs to be done.
For setting up Dolphin for Wii Fit Plus, you are going to want to contact ComradeGibby. The best way is probably through a Twitch whisper here - https://www.twitch.tv/captainfamicom. He might be still working on the specs, but it will be a starting place.
For showing that you are using a Wii Balance Board/Wii Remote, it would be nice to see in video a shot of the balance board and wii remote you are using. Though, we are very against forcing players to show full body footage of themselves during the run, so don't feel like you have to do that.
That being said, we haven't had anyone do emulated runs of Wii Fit Plus yet. If loads start to be a major problem, we may just have it to where ILs are the only place emulator is allowed (as none of the IL timings are affected by loads).

Well this is going to be awkward.
So the very first game submitted to src was Oregon Trail 5 (I was bad at leaderboard creation back then). A few months after I had the leaderboards, I changed computers, and could no longer run the game. Feeling it was time to break it up, once a couple others had ran the game, I figured it was time to pass it up. So I gave moderator to Baldr (current WR holder) and some guy I won't name cause he got banned the day after I gave him mod.
Fastforward to March 2019, and now I have a way to safely play the game on my new computer and record it. Baldr hasn't been on in 10 months, I shot him a message couple days ago on his twitter (which he has posted tweets since my message, but no reply.) And as I'm writing this, throwing in a run to submit as good measure. I know, a little awkward with it originally being my leaderboard, but I didn't feel ok moderating a game I could no longer run. Now with the ability to run the game safely, and definitely, know a lot more on leaderboard creation.
