I recently did a World Peace run. Despite my joycons being fully charged, they only lasted about 40 minutes before the left one ran out of battery. Four more times across the run it ran out of battery, and I had to essentially play in short bursts before putting it on for a minute. I ended up PBing by exactly one second, and this run is now one of my favorite ones ever.
It's specifically the left Joycon, the right is all right and lasted me the whole run. But is there any way to ensure this doesn't happen? My left Joycon has nearly no battery life.
I know for a fact other people have had this problem in the past, but I couldn't find answers for my particular situation. My joycons are lagging in docked mode, sometimes as much as one second before my button input is registered. I improved my situation a little by moving the switch dock, but it still sometimes does this. Any suggestions?
Hi again, I'm new and don't know if there's an unwritten rule about making a thread that continues something that was locked, but my Discord is acting up and I want to know if I can get a direct link to the all moons-minimum coins sheet. Thanks!
Hi everyone, I was wondering if somebody had a link to a sheet that shows how many moons are possible coinless. If it's somewhere in the Discord, let me know too. Thanks!
I want to do an AUM run, but jump rope and beach volleyball are big obstacles. I got these moons in my casual playthrough by using letter escape glitch for jump rope (which I'm not sure is allowed) and 2P for volleyball (which is obviously banned.) Anyone have any tips to give to help me get these moons? Any and all advice is appreciated. Also, is the letter escape glitch allowed?
It honestly doesn't take that long to beat the game jumpless. 2 player is allowed for as often as you want, although it's only required at one point (to wake Mario up before escape, which you have to Cappy bounce instead of Jump) Any% timing rules, you have to check with toadette post run about how many jumps you have.
- Jumping as a capture doesn't count
- Talking to NPC's, weirdly, counts. However, you can avoid this by talking to them in first person mode.
I've had two rejected submissions come in because I didn't have any means of recording them. I don't have a capture card, do you have any suggestions?
(Yes, I know you can just point it at the TV, but I'm playing handheld games)
