frog skip can only be done on versions 1.0/1.1 and the no frog skip record is done on 1.3 which has much faster loads. We actually aren't sure which is faster but we're pretty sure 1.0 frog skip and 1.3 no frog skip are close to the same speed. The actual record for frog skip is a lot worse simply because people haven't bothered to grind it as much. Pretty much everyone is running on 1.3 these days so frog skip is mostly ignored.
You can force the game to download to the console by not having an SD cart inserted when you download it and this is what you should do if you want the fastest version of the game. It will load slower on an SD card as opposed to being installed directly in the switch memory, although both of those options are faster than a physical cartridge. SD was for people who got 1.0 with hacks, which doesn't really have relevance anymore.

We literally only used milliseconds to break a tie because people were being displayed out of order on the leaderboard. Outside of that there is no tangible benefit to using milliseconds so its unnecessary extra work for the verification team.
We're not gonna allow 2p just for the sake of making volleyball easy. adding a 2p category to the CE board would be fine if there were actually people running the category in 2p mode for the whole run with 2p only strats. Otherwise it's not worth having. What you're asking for is the lazy way out.
a combination of most of us being very busy people in general, odyssey being a popular game so there are a ton of submissions, and the verification page only loading certain times of day cause this website kind of sucks. for example it usually only works for me like before noon or after 9pm or so. We usually hover around a week behind. So you can generally expect us to get to your run 7-10 days after its submitted. i try to ensure we dont fall any further behind than that.
the leaderboard for it is there as it always has been because we cant have world peace tabs for one kingdom and not the others. We just auto decline submissions for kingdoms where any% and WP are the same. If people want to submit lake WP IL's I would accept them
you could certainly make it work without motion controls but youll be losing some significant time anywhere you want to roll while going up hill as thats basically impossible without motion controls
being able to run the game and actually emulating it accurately are 2 completely different stories. I would say don't expect emulator to be legal on this leaderboard for a very long time if ever.
