do I have to delete my entire save to submit a speedrun submission? Or can I simply just play through them all?

I recently have been on a spree of clearing the game with yes the cape star world to the end of the game 8 exits but just recently got down to just 7. I don't see any category for either any% or 7 exits if anyone could let me know why that would be awesome thank you in advance!

I'm curious is there no category for Japanese Pokémon games? I don't see one other then for like stadium and snap for JP N64. Just curious what it takes to get a game up there I don't think they use pocket monsters in japan anymore I'm not entirely sure. only asking cause I own both gen 1 and 2 complete in both regions. there is no choice for switch NSO for hardware how do i submit my run do i say i used an emu? or do i put GBA? or WII U VC? please help ASAP
