Hey everyone I just found out about this today but the username method for account creation on genshin has changed to require email verification so I have a handy tip for everyone who wants to get into speedrunning or continues to speedrun.

PWARGaming on Youtube posted this method for salting your e-mail so you can make accounts easily. What I did was create a very long username junk email account to salt so I can add periods between each letter and get the code sent so I can make a new account to run. Details in the vid below:

EDIT: New info so apparently salting only works with g-mail accounts and it's easier to add a + sign before the @ symbol and a number so mrsmith+1@gmail.com mrsmith+2@gmail.com. This info is on the discord thanks to LilZoe but for those who aren't apart of the discord it is for your information!
