you have a responsibility as a moderator,if you cant assume it, don't do it i'm not going to submit a run
im at 23 days right now, & moderator has been online in the past 23 days the game is : Puzzle Bobble (SNES)
the rules for the expert categories says : "normal"
i would love to run this version, to bad its not there
yeah, since you have to start at lvl9 no matter what, its not as interesting i can add it no problem
lemee try a run first :p
I use an FPGA system (AVS) for famicom games, but using these systems for submitting a score or a speedrun are not accepted in all communities unfortunately
I guess I will try to find a decent step down converter... I just think its weird how opinions vary on this subject.
some people go as far as to say that these converters are useless... I just wish I understood electricity better to make an educated choice
so if the US block fits in the japanese console its gonna output the right voltage ? i just dont feel safe when i dont understand it, im not saying its rocket science, but i dont feel like i fully understand whats the proper way to do this
so AV Famicom with Genesis powerblock ?
is it really safe to just plug it without concern ? Japan is 100 volts & US is 120 volts
I'm not sure I feel comfortable overloading that extra 20 volts
what would be the best way to play Japanese games on original hardware in north America ? I know about removing the snes tabs, but what about famicom ?
is the voltage difference important ? what is the best solution ?
looking for a way to analyse a video with a timer that shows the exact frame ideally a free software, but I don't mind paying for quality
any suggestions ?
thank you
The rules for the "expert" categories are the same as the ones for "normal"
@NickDoane asked me if I wanted to be moderator on this game's leaderboard
just making it official, I'm a decent Tetris player & have enough free time to dedicate to it, I intend to do many more runs in this series & others
Thank you for considering it
