Thanks to the addition of High Rank Defender Weapons for Sunbreak, I thought I should list when notable unlocks happen up to Narwa%.
- New Weapon Skills
- The Defender II Weapon upgrade
- Tranq Bombs available for purchase
- Powercharm and Armorcharm available for purchase (passive boost to atk and def)
- The HR Defender III Weapon upgrade
- The HR Defender IV Weapon Upgrade
- The last HR Defender V Weapon upgrade
From personal experience, I haven't notice any noticeable changes with the game from the chapter 9 update to the chapter 10 update. I think it was the prologue (chapter 1 and 2) update that did dramatically change the game level structure to what it currently is (the old chapter 3 and 4 was changed into 2 sections each since then). But for now, I'll focus on the current game's chapter 10 category.
Hello, I'm someone with an interest of speed running Bloody Spell in the future; however, I believe the category rules should be set to make runs consistent.
Based on Amesiyo's record for the Chapter 9 category and DonnieCaramelo's record for Chapter 10, the suggested rules should be as followed:
- Timing starts when confirming difficulty from main menu
- Timing ends when you talk to the producer at the end of Chapter 9
- For future game versions, timing ends you enter the loading zone to Chapter 10 after defeating the Jinling guards
- Timing starts when you start moving in Chapter 1 (show character standing in place first)
- Timing ends when Faceless is defeated at the end of Chapter 10
- Must start from a New Game in main menu
- Chapter rules apply
- Previously unlocked weapon, passive, and active skills allowed
- Carried over equipment and items in inventory allowed
- Chapter rules apply
Differences between Any% and Glitchless are yet to be determined.
Future category rules as new Bloody Spell chapters are released can be determined when they happen.
