What would you recommend I start with to start recording/streaming my runs besides a capture card?

nothing anymore (at least that I know of) after the 1.2.0 update because the any% leaderboards take runs from any version of the game now (1.0.0, 1.1.0, 1.2.0)

I agree with everything accept the stream part. Throughout almost all of speedrunning there has been a mix of streamed and recorded WRs and I think the mods could discover if anything was wrong in a recorded run.

It should be in 3 categories: Minimum, Pre-Moon, and Post-moon.

any% uses amiibo, 2p, and assist mode. 124 moon does not allow those.

yes. at least i would assume. : get all power moons, area coins, outfits, etc...
