here's no differences between the NTSC versions. JP and US are the same.

PAL has differences such as speed since it runs slower. for RTA that's very limiting. there's other differences like speed caps but that's only relevant for the very top players.

unless you are doing emulator, you will require a N64 either way.

either way, when submitting a run, there's only one option in this leaderboard.

is it allowed to submit to the Nitro and Retro charts using the parts done from a 32 tracks run? like, can i submit tot he Nitro chart using the first half of a 32 tracks run? 32 is done in order which means the tracks are played in the same order they'd be played in these categories.
