Also your "units" measurement is odd, I'd say, look at the world records for each task and subtract 5-10 seconds (for running from spawn) and use time to complete instead of distance traveled.
Best strategy is to send computers, read rice type through the window, grab rice, do pressure, move boxes and do the task in it's respective room then repeat until finished. This also couples with taking a vent out when leaving the room.
Ayyyyyy, a new runner! That 2nd dot, 6th dot, and last dot ate a lot of your time. I'm sure you can beat your time within an hour or two. Goodluck!
Hm, neat, but also what if I want everyone to know why I'm dancing lol.
Actually, I'm correcting my statement, it's both of them with the fuse part done and you grab two batteries, and both batteries are full off spawn. Not sure what the chances of a battery being full off spawn is but I hardly ever see it. Though that requires the least interaction with the task so it has to be the most efficient.
TECHNICALLY best seed would be two full batteries in the box already and the fuses needed in the closest grabbable spawn points. I'm not going to calculate the exact chance of that happening but it's probably an astronomically small chance of happening.
I threw about 5-7 seconds unfortunately, this specific set up for them to spawn in only has a 0.529% chance of spawning though so I don't think anyone will be taking the record back soon, good luck everyone!
Don't wait for computers to say whether they failed or succeeded on the receiving end, you can read that later in office.
Don't juggle canisters, you can move them further for less stamina by moving them one at a time. Move them into the hallway for easy access then cart them over one by one. If pressure explodes on half power it means it has to be a 3, you set two 2s in place of the 1s that came out, which was a big time waste sadly.
7:18, You shouldn't wait at the machine for vents to clean, so the RNG on how clean they are isn't important, there's no amount of cleanliness that makes it worth the time waste of sitting still at the machine.
Move packages into the hallway when you walk past them. (4:35) (5:50)
The default setting for analysis (the same used for Any%) is 6, if the tablet displays any number lower than this you know you have that many reds as every mix requires one red, so you didn't need to read the analysis computer the first time you did. at 11:25 you should've turned left to finish computers, you lose time for this later, I understand you wanted to deliver the package at the same time, which is good, however you could've set the package in position for this moment at 8:31 by grabbing the box rather than the rice.
Don't hit the drop box with the package to open it, throw it and press the button then pick the box up mid air and deposit it, alternatively if you're low on stamina because you were running you can press F then immediately left click to drop the box without any stamina cost, it will still cost stamina to pickup though so make sure you have a small amount.
You grabbed all three rice and I wanted to cry 😭. You passed info up on what rice you needed at 0:05, 6:35, 6:58 and 8:12 by not turning your head left. Even without this info I'd say it's worth it to read the plaques first rather than go retrieve all the rice blindly, though I would say to bring a random rice in when you enter the first time if you have to enter to read what rice you need. You wasted a lot of time by not constantly moving the pizzushi conveyor, 11:45 you could have set down the paper and inserted a rice bag then ran out to get the toppings. I notice now you read what rice you needed at 11:40 but still got all three bags? Don't do that lol. You should've spawned a fish for the pizza while running past the button to do so at around 11:40.
There is apparently a character limit and I've hit it, if you'd like more tips you can DM me, I'd also like to invite you to join my group for the Any% Multiplayer as we need more people and you seem to be fairly good, if you're interested my discord is "spinelstones".
Good run overall though! 👏
This category should be removed lowkey, if you don't know how to do scanner solo you shouldn't be speed running. It's not about listening to the dots and "feeling" for them, you should know where they are. My point is proven by itself as the "Any%" category is literally longer than "Any% Without scanner" yet the time is shorter. The only reason I haven't submitted a run for this is it seems pointless and I think it should be deleted. I'll submit a run by the end of the week though.
Can we get a
Quickest win, Random lobby (0 friends in lobby)
Quickest win, Lobby with friends (1 or more friends in lobby)
Then an Employee and Dissident category for both?
I think the Employee side would be difficult as most lobbies have different settings for tasks so I'm not sure we should even have an Employee die however we should definitely have one for quickest win in a public match as a dissident.
Bottom player is wildly inefficient lol, spent 30 seconds staring at boxes at the start.
I only have one monitor, I mentally separate the scanner monitor into a grid of 3x3 for each tile, then I remember the slot on the grid for each dot, that way I don't have to remember the EXACT spot the dots in, just where it is on the mental grid in each tile. I wish I had a photographic memory though that'd make life so much easier.
Yeah obviously it works with a VPN lol because then it doesn't think you're in Russia.
Doing scanner with two people would be sub-optimal regardless so I don't see why not. Though it would be a waste of time.
