I changed it. I didn't know what you meant at first but it makes sense. The og one was bad quality and cut off on both sides. The new one looks way better. Thank you for the suggestion.

After 7 years, I finally put IL's on the leaderboard. Have fun running IL's :)
When these runs were up, I looked at them in depth and they were legitimate. For example, Syuya, who has a few wr's currently, was a very skilled runner who either privated or deleted all their videos while being legit. I just wanted to post something like this to let you all know that these runs are legit.

For any people who submit runs on pc, just submit them on new patch since its the same as on phone. Also added PC as a platform. Have fun.

A week or so ago I tested how much time loss we would get from the new menu popup. Funny enough, if you are really good at doing the menus fast, you could save like 1.3-1.4 seconds per menu because you don't have to wait for the stars to show up at the end of the levels. So there is no time loss only time saves. The old/new patch categories will still be separated but I can't wait to see how low these times can get. Especially runs from syuya0523, they are pretty goated.

In the newer updates of PG3D, in the Pixelated World, there is a little menu before levels to show noobs what gear they should use for the levels. The categories (which is a majority) that include this world are put into (New Patch) because of the huge time loss caused by these menus.
From now on, submit your runs to the new categories in order for your runs to be on the leaderboards.
Hopefully this will solve any confusion that anyone might have.

Baygle brought up a cool idea in a different forum post to make a new category "Gadgetless" it's definitely going to be a competitive category in my eyes. Because you don't have to get the gadgets and it's more accessible.
Now, I'm going to talk about the Game Rules. I think that these are some pretty good rules to start off on. If there are any more rules that I need to add, consult me on discord in the #faq chat. The discord is found on the sidebar if you didn't know already.
Welp, that's all that I have for now. I've started speedrunning Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered today and I will resume running PG3D when I get a new phone.

I did not know you were LMS what... This is a turn of events.
Since the community is picking back up in popularity, I made a Discord server to go along with this spike of new following. In this Discord you can talk about anything PG3D related including new records, strategies, etc. There is also a faq (Frequently Asked Questions) section that you can use to ask us questions about ourselves and different things about the game that you are puzzled about and so on. The server is in it's very early beta mode, so there's not that much in there. I just created it before I wrote this essay. I can't wait to see what can come of this and what times that you all will push the runs down to. It's pretty exciting. I will start running the game again once I get a new phone. Mine broke. Rip. I've submitted runs for other categories but I've started to get consistent on blazeit. And I think the normal 3 bump method is hard for me. It is really a preference thing. If you want to do it, it's good on you. Here's a vid of me trying to do the clip.
Once you do a small jump, you hold left and smash "A" while holding "B"
