I've wanted to run this game as well but I wasn't able to do gateskip after trying for like 15 minutes, so I gave up. It's a mystery.
Citroen C4 Robot - a quirky little solo racing game. You have the ability to transform to and from a robot (the game was based a series of Citroen adverts). Car and Robot each have advantages and disadvantages for different parts of the course. The game can be completed in 3-4 minutes but has a high skill ceiling that hasn't been reached yet.
Curse the gods. Even with Windows 7 compatibility mode fix?
I just got a run that I recorded with the autosplitter as 3:17.08 and YT frame timer gave a very similar result. But the in-game timer says 3:16.919.
There are normally slight discrepancies but I've not noticed it be significant enough to matter before. Could lag in game explain the discrepancy? Or should we regard the in-game timer as broken/inaccurate? I had only preferred to use it to compare against the archived leaderboards.
I pray to the Citroën gods but no answer is forthcoming.
At the moment I would guess high 3:17 is the absolute limit for the route Will_Treaty and I used. Otherwise you'd almost certainly need to find new lines or pick up more boosts somehow.
I was wondering if we could have a Car Only category since we have Robot Only? I did a couple runs of it and it was pretty fun.
It's worth considering that, as far as I understand it, players at that time had access to ghosts of other top players, whereas it's totally unclear to me how a 3:07 is remotely possible. Probably some kind of exploit. Interestingly the same person (or team I guess) has all top four places but they are seconds apart from one another.
Parking on French Classics is... interesting. Look forward to your run :)
Lol you're so good at driving games it's absurd. If you're interested I'd love to see you try cro-mag rally and I also added another k-tech game French Classics.
Also I'm curious about why you restarted the game? To avoid crashes?
With this change I don't mind if you make my current level runs obsolete.
:D That's the last major milestone I think. I still want 2:12 Jungle. Crete 2:32 and Medieval 3:30 are maybe possible but I'm not sure. Can't see a second improvement on any of the others (we don't talk about Giza).
