I plan on beginning any% runs as soon as I finish my YouTube series on the game. Anything major that's been discovered so far?

I'm going to be doing a massive 3D Mario Marathon starting tomorrow and I was curious if anyone has any tips for just general speed in the galaxy games, since I feel like those will take the longest.

I've been wondering, why do we need our runs to be somewhere on the internet like twitch or YouTube? Would it really be so hard to make it possible to just make a way to give them a video file?
